Vice President Kamala Harris will address the nation following her loss to former President Donald Trump. Harris will speak at Howard University on Wednesday (November 6) afternoon at 4 p.m. ET.

According to CNN, she is going to call Trump to concede the presidential election.

Donald Trump defeated Harris after flipping three battleground states: Wisconsin, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. As of Wednesday morning, Trump had 276 electoral votes. Harris won 223 electoral votes.

The results in Michigan, Nevada, and Arizona remain too close to call, while races in Alaska and Maine are too early to call as more votes are still being counted.

The Republicans also took control of the Senate, picking up three seats. They currently have a two-vote advantage, with six races still up in the air.

The Republicans also picked up three seats in the House, but there are still dozens of races that have not been called.
